Welcome to the Outlandish Apps Resources section, a special list of the tools and services I strongly recommend for growing your blog and app business.

  • I have tested and used every recommendation on this page. Many of the resources listed here are crucial to running my business day in and day out.

Before getting into this great list of resources I use and love, you must know:

Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means that if you choose to make a purchase, I will earn a commission. This commission comes at no additional cost you you.  I have experience with all of these companies and many of the products and services they provide I use on a daily basis. I recommend them because they are helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions I make if you decide to buy something. Please do not spend any money on these products unless you feel you need them or that they will help you achieve your goals.

Leadpages.net

Leadpages generates leads and sales for your business on the web, in emails, via text messaging, and on social media. Meet the powerful tools that make it possible.

I use it to make quick landing pages for lead magnets sign-ups and product launches. I use one account to host these pages across multiple projects and websites. This is perfect for the serial idea person that constantly creates new opportunities.

Texture Packer by Code and Web

Texture packer is a program that lets you quickly create sprite sheets for your game.

  • My Favorite Sprite Sheet Creator on the market!
  • Save time
  • Save memory

I use this to create and reskin games like our slots templates, Mega Jackpot Slots & Secret Chest Slots. Try it out for 7 days before buying if you are hesitant, but the full version is a great deal for $39.99.

(Just a quick note)

Have you ever downloaded the free trial of something and it runs out just when your in the middle of your project? Then you need to drop everything, go back find the link, order it, put in your ID to activate it…and HOPE it works. Anymore, I just buy it upfront if it make sense and is reasonable priced like this.

Deposite Photos

Deposit Photos is a great “Royalty-Free Stock Photos, Vector Images and Videos” website.

I have been using them for years.  This is website where you can either pay for credits and download images as you go or (and my favorite) join a subscription plan.

What to I use these images for?

  • Graphic assets used inside my apps
  • App icons
  • Blog post images
  • Email campaign images

I currently have the the $59 a month plan that gets me 50 images.  So it comes out to just a little over $1 per image.  Think that’s a lot? If you buy as you go with credits you can pay up to $5-$10 an image!  That’s why even if I don’t use all 50 images, it works for me.
